Additional Fees:
Transfer Fee: If transferring from another club, a fee of €20 will be added to your membership for transfer fees.
Registration Fee: For first time playing members, an additional €35 fee is added to register in the KNVB
* For returning players: If payment is not made before the due date, you will be signed out of Sportlink and will be required to pay the registration fee (€35)
* Volunteer deposit: The €75 volunteer deposit is refundable upon nine hours of volunteer work at IFC or VUC. This is normal procedure at most clubs now to help with the running of the club. Volunteer jobs include: refereeing, coaching, secretary duty, bar duty and kitchen duty.
At International Football Club, we are committed to providing our members with the best possible experience and value for their membership fees. This return policy outlines our guidelines for membership fee refunds and exceptions.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once they have been paid.
KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Association) fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
IFC reserves the right to withhold admin fees on refunds where necessary.
Long-Term Injuries: In cases where a member sustains a long-term injury during the season that prevents them from participating in club activities for an extended period (typically defined as more than half of the season), a pro-rated refund for the remaining portion of the membership fee may be considered. The member must provide a valid medical certificate and notify the club’s administration within 30 days of the injury.
Relocation: If a member relocates to a new residence that is outside of a reasonable commuting distance to our club and cannot reasonably continue their membership, a pro-rated refund for the remaining portion of the membership fee may be considered. Proof of relocation, such as a utility bill or lease agreement, must be provided, and the member should notify the club within 30 days of the relocation.
Membership fees will not be refunded if a member decides to move to another football club during the course of the season or decides to stop attending practice/matches. We encourage members to complete the season with our club and discuss any concerns or issues with the coaching staff or administration.
Disciplinary actions resulting from bad behavior or violations of the club’s code of conduct will forfeit any possible refunds.
Any other situations or circumstances not explicitly covered in our exceptions policy.
To request a refund under the exceptions outlined in this policy, members must submit a written request to the club’s administration. (Dpalmer@xs4all.nl), The request should include a detailed explanation of the circumstances.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 30 days of receiving a complete refund request. The amount refunded will be calculated based on the remaining portion of the membership fee after deductions for KNVB fees (which are non-refundable).
