Luke Higgins

Luke comes to IFC as the new technical director in the summer of 2021. Since joining IFC, he has coached the JO18’s who play in the A Category, as well as oversees the other coaches in the club. 

Prior to IFC, Luke served as a full-time coach within the foundation of Southampton FC. While at Southampton, he coached and taught their college students at St.Mary stadium. 

He received his BA in Football Studies with Business from Southampton Solem University, and later on, received his MSc in Performance Coaching from the University of Stirling. Additionally he has a Teaching Diploma, UEFA B Licence in Football Coaching, FA Goalkeeping Level 1 and Futsal Level 1.

Chris, a South American Native, joined the IFC coaching staff in 2019. Over his time at IFC, he has coached the JO17-2, JO12, JO13/JO14-2 and the Goalkeepers. 

Prior to his time at IFC, he coached in the United States at the city of Pembroke Pines, where he coached the goalkeepers and U-14’s. 

Chris played collegiate football at the University of Miami, where he majored in Geology, Geography and Art. His football career started young, always playing as goalkeeper. In the fall, he’d play for travel team West Pines United and in the spring for his school. After a long injury period, he now comes back to play for the IFC men’s team.
